Inspired by the blog post this morning, I decided to wear a dress for the first time to my new job. ( I wore Sloan pants the rest of the week, and will post those outfits a bit later tonight). I bought the dress fairly recently, but it has been Angie's pick a couple of years ago - it is a pretty modern classic shirtdress by Cynthia Steffe called Maya. I found it at TJ Maxx in black, and couldn't be happier with it. I would love it even more if it were navy, so I will keep my eyes open for a similar dress in navy/ink color.
I combined it with my old trusty black&white mini-wedges, and a complement of cobalt KC tote and cobalt/white striped silk J Crew neckerchief.

These little Kelsie Dagger black & white wedges were one of my best shoe purchases ever - super comfy, go with almost everything and much more interesting than solid black. This is their fourth year, and sadly their last - they are getting really worn out. I would be very grateful for replacement/upgrade suggestions - maybe something similar with a low block heel? Completely flat flats do not work for my feet.
