WIW 6/27-6/29: Top, Bottom, Blazer. Lather, Rinse, Repeat.

I obviously have quite the "uniform" going for work. Here are some examples from this week:

1. Wednesday.
Chalet green pencil skirt: Halogen
Green/pink plaid blazer: Trina Turk
Ivory ruffled tank: Old Navy
Pink pumps: Kate Spade
Faux straw bag: GAP

2. Thursday.
Brown pants: Ann Taylor
White silk pussybow "bee" blouse: Emerson Made
Red blazer: H&M
Red pumps: Madden Girl
Leopard bag: Brahmin

3. Friday.
Turquoise pencil skirt: Halogen
Red tank: Ann Taylor
White tuxedo jacket: Classiques Entier
Multi pumps: Rocket Dog, recommended by Angie
White tote: eBay

I bought these Rocket Dog multicolored pumps months ago when Angie recommended them, but they've been having a surprisingly hard time playing well with others in my closet. Today I decided I was going to make them work, no matter what, and I'm super happy with the resulting not-quite-patriotic colorblock outfit that resulted!

Me too! Mine is shirt, pants, belt. Even the same shoes. You look quite changed-up when you look at all three like this, so I don't think it looks repetitive. And your bag is different every day!

Top, bottom, blazer; shirt, pants, belt... I love these personal uniforms! Mine from the winter was long coat, jeggings, tall boots. It makes it so much easier to buy things when you have a uniform!

Groove for sure! I love the white blazer in 3 (and bag) and the way you made those shoes play nice. Great colors, textures and cuts. This is business formal, not a uniform!

What a groove! These looks are all so different with the colors and patterns that it doesn't look formulaic at all! Why mess with perfection! My fave is #1 but they all look fab as usual!

I think my formula is dress, dress, dress, interspersed with pencil skirts here and there.

Wednesday's outfit is so amazing, I would give it a K to the Power Of rating if I were Angie! I love those soft colors on you as well.

I love the 70s vibe on Thursday and yes, today's outfit is thematic in a good way (a 4th of July tee/ sweatshirt / sweater would rank thematic in a bad way from me). If you walked in for dinner tonight I would have given you a free glass of wine, just because your outfit matched our 4th decor so wonderfully.

We are such uniform twins then! Nearly all my outfits include blazer also. I just feel perfect wearing something structured! And being able to remove a layer based on temp. Hey, why mess with perfection!

White jacket is so fabulous! The red white and blue is fun combo and I like that you wore it early. Also the preppy plaid jacket is so fun.

Heather, yes, the white jacket is new. I snagged it at the Rack a week or two ago after deciding I needed a not-quite-so-bright white jacket for summer. I have been leery of one-button styles but I think this one works. You can't see it in the photo, but it's shorter in back and highlights my thank-you-Trainer-Dave tush nicely!

Christianne and Andrea, the Trina Turk was one of my first YLF-inspired purchases. I paid more than I was used to paying but it's been a real wardrobe workhorse, which I think is funny for a piece so distinctive!

Mary, I loved those Rocket Dog pumps so much when you first posted them that I ordered them. they're incredibly comfortable BUT....I have that same problem you described. I'm so glad it wasn't just me. You've inspired me to work harder with them.

#3 is my fav, all are wonderful as ever.
