WIW 6/26 Inspired by Annagybe......

Greetings YLF, I was so inspired by Annagybe post on Nordstrom Blog inspired. Annagybe you have the best style and wardrobe and heart. You inspired me on this post. So, I went to shop my closet and see what I could come up with. The weather is so perfect for this combination the jacket has a little peplum shape in the back. The boots are from the gap many years old an the tee is also from the Gap. The tee is a nod to my Telecommunications background. I'm going out but I will be responding later.

As usual all are welcome commenters and lurkers.

Ohmigosh, I can't believe how great your and Anna's versions are. I mean, it's so amazing to me (still) that that pic drove these outfits and that I can even see the "bones" of it in your takes.

Rachylou-I felt at home in this fit! I have been running around and it is comfortable yet slightly dressy. I have more time to play because I'm on a mini staycation.

Annagybe-You are such a fab inspiration and this one of my favorite jackets a lightweight cotton.

Janet- You should try it. You could use the jacket as a topper indoors instead of a wrap or scarf.

YAY YOU! You totally rock this! Love the high waisted military style midriff on you--so flattering--that's the "preppy" bit, you've got the stripe (fabulous shape to the jacket) and I love the T on you, too.

It's so amazing to see how one look can be so personalized--and so wonderful in each iteration.

This is an absolutely amazing homage and outfit. I hope you get a ton of compliments on it, because you ought to. LOVE that tee. And the jacket is beyond fab. It kind of echoes several of Anna's outfits this week -- the shorts with blazer one, and the striped jacket one.

I love how the jacket elevates the look with polish and adds so much depth and dimension. The bold stripe paired with the graphic tee are pure genius and cutting edge. I love the play on proportions with the shorts and booties. 20 out of 10.

Isis- well thank you I really feeL Awkward when posing in front of the camera but with my pictures today my sister and my niece make me feel really comfortable.

Day Vies-I love how jackets can elevate a look., my jackets don't get to much love from me unless I am going to church so it was nice to elevate a very casual look.

Echo- I have so many unique graphic tees love them very much. They are literally my obsession.

Jeanie- I have a co-worker who collects old phones. His best find is an old railway station phone. Been in telecomm over 20 years. Go ahead an let yourself be inspired to shop your closet. YLF has truly been my inspiration, I have been struggling with summer but Angie wrote an article about cut offs now I have a few pair of "summer shorts".

Gigi- First off thank you for the comparison to Anna. That woman is a guru like Obi Wan Kenobi. I think I'm more like Frodo ROTFLOL.

Firecracker- I'm sorry I did not link the post I'll have to start doing that. It is really a fantastic thread.

Neel - Anna has marvelously long legs. Me on the other hand I try to be statuesque at 5'2 on a good day but I feel more comfortable in knee length "shorts". I would not want to expose the world to all of my sexy lol.
