Here is the outfit I wore yesterday, based on the Dark Floral ensemble post. It consists od Zara floral wrap blouse worn over blush cami which I realize you can not see well in the photo, faded black H&M cropped kick flare jeans and ancient b&w mini-wedge shoes. I have rediscovered true wrap tops this season and have been happily wearing them mostly with cropped flares.
I apologize for the photo quality, it was dark when I got home last night - my lab took me out for happy hour since it was my last day. I have planned a relaxing low-key weekend: lots of sleep, some laundry and apartment cleaning, as well as a closet edit to start my new offic-y job on Monday. I have been working 16-h days at my old job for the past couple of weeks and am beyond exhausted. I am also dealing with lots of conflicting feelings: excited for new start, but sad to leave the old job behind, especially the people. For the first time in over 15 years I will not be doing research at the bench anymore.
