WIW 6/21: Suz kitty copycat for Burbank and Beverly Hills

Today we are doing a studio tour of Warner Brothers in Burbank, then we are going to lunch at a fancy restaurant in Beverly Hills, so I needed to be casual and comfortable but reasonably chic. I had been wanting to copy Suz's pairing of the leopard belt with the kitty shirt, and today seemed like a great opportunity!

"Kitty" shirt: Equipment
Leopard belt: Talbots
BF jeans: GAP
Black and brown sandals: Payless
Colorblock tote: Vince Camuto

I think (I hope) it looks a little better in person than in the photo, in which I think I look a little manic (unlike the ever-self-possessed Suz! LOL What do you all think?

It Works, big time.

To my eye, the main difference in the vibe comes from the footwear, Suz's is a bit calmer, yours - not manic, just busy. But it actually is all in good balance with the top of the outfit, and the bag, so nothing to worry about. After all, you have the personality to carry this off PLUS it is obvious you had so much fun getting dressed.

You look fantastic, and now I want to try it with my BF jeans and sandals! Oh, and a light coloured bra. Sheesh! Can't believe I was trying on with my dark bra underneath. Lest anyone mistake things, this was a "try-out" outfit that I did end up wearing, but WITH THE CORRECT BRA!
