WIW 6/18: The sole surviving Nexx blouse

I ended up returning all the solid-color Nexx silk blouses because of the laundering issue. But this watercolor print version was on sale for half price and I figured I could afford a few trips to the dry cleaner, plus I hope the print will be a little more forgiving of slight wrinkles and everyday wear and tear! I have had a "blue watercolor print blouse" wardrobe hole for a while and am really happy to have filled it!

Blue watercolor print blouse: Nexx
Turquoise pencil skirt: Halogen
White tuxedo jacket: Classiques Entier (from the Rack this weekend)
Off-white patent pumps: Madden Girl
Purple snake belt: consignment
Purple croc satchel: Dooney & Bourke via eBay

What do you think about the jacket? Normally I don't do one-buttons but I think this one is okay. I wear my white jacket so much in the summer I thought it would be nice to have a second one, and this one is a little less than bright-white, which I think is a nice change.

I'm sorry to hear about the return of the Nexx blouses MaryK - although beautiful, I don't know if I'd want to do all that drycleaning either.

But I'm glad you kept this one. I love the colours and pattern on you and of course, it goes brilliantly with that pencil skirt. I like the soft white jacket. It fits you well in the shoulders.

Oooooo! There is a printed Nexx blouse? I love it! (I am on team pattern, you know!) Those watercolors are just gorgeous on you, and perfect with your pencil skirt. I quite like the white blazer, too. It has a kind of men's formal wear vibe with the points in front and the low, one button stance. I totally works with your figure, no worries! You look terrific!

Love! I wanted this blouse, too, but it wasn't in my size when I looked. So sorry to hear about the others getting returned! I wish I knew the secret formula to make Dryel at home. :T

The white jacket looks great on you - I think having a second one is a fab idea. Now both jackets will last longer!

That is a shame about the Nexx shirts. I do love the print on this one though and I see it has a bit of yellow in it. I think it would look really good with the yellow seamed skirt too. You could also do the white jacket or could add a brighter jacket - maybe the green.

I had the hardest time deciding which skirt to wear today because I kid you not, this blouse goes with every. single. one. of my Halogen pencil skirts: fever pink, purple magenta, electric blue, chalet green, emerald, and yellow raisin, in addition to the turqouise you see! Big fun!! Hadn't thought about pairing it with the GAP bright green jacket, but I bet that would be great!

I love your new print blouse and you are a walking watercolor! Turquoise, purple and white make a rich combination, mk, and, of course, a one-button jacket works for you! This blouse would dress up jeans and skinnies any day, too (just don't tell your Halogen pencil skirt capsule)! So sad about the Nexx, mine went back. I ended up keeping the pastels I ordered from Rae's link as they we about $30 each. I'll be dryel-ing those.

my nexx blouses say hand wash and they turned out just fine with handwashing and steam ironing. Am I missing something?

Lobe the blouse...such stunning colors. I also like the jacket a lot. But personally I like a one button look. The shape is very feminine and flattering. I would like to see the sleeves scrunched rather than rolled tho.
