WIW 6/17 and 6/18: Stripes on stripes, and it's easy being green

1/2. Yesterday I decided to go Full ALGO with this stripes on stripes outfit. I think it kind of worked even though the jacket and the top have a bit of a complicated relationship!

3/4. Today's outfit is a tribute to all the "green" I'm contemplating laying out as I contemplate buying and fixing up a house! I think the star of this outfit is the fab bag Adelfa contributed to the swap at last year's Shoptoberfest!

MsMary - I think #1 works, also! Partly because your matchy matchy shoes kick it up about ten notches (so to speak), and partly because of your specs. I'm not sure how it would look with jacket sans sunnies, you know? On a dark haired person it would definitely fly (to this eye) .

LOVE your matchy greens. Goldenpig should sign in just to see your splendour.

I love the first outfit. The shoes put it over the top. Orange is a difficult color for most people to wear but you look beautiful wearing it. With the striped blazer I think the sunnies bring it all together. In the absence of the sunnies perhaps a black bag would pull more of the black into the outfit. Green is my favorite color so I adore both green ensembles.

Ack the double stripe is sooo fabulous! Totally works. I see what Suz is saying about the sunnies adding another dark element; I have a hunch the look would still work without them, though. Adore the gold bag with the tans and gold, yummy. If your home ends up in the colors of the second outfit, you will have a serene home indeed ^^ Great rich olives in that one.
