These are not my favorite outfits, but it was a warm week (finally)
1) I wore to window shop with the kids and have dinner. I have had this lace tank anumber of years, and I usually pair it with white or blush tank underneath. This was too high contrast for me, and the tank and pants were different colors.
2) I feel like I will wear this alot to work in the heat. It's not really exciting, but it gets the job done
3) this day was very warm, and I had to lead an orientation tour of campus, and teach my class outdoors. This is a comfortable dress,and relatively modest, but not the most flattering
4) you get to see the goofy lanyard I wear at work.
5) I wore it to work, to the hairdressers to trim my bangs and then to meet an old friend to catch up. Sometimes I feel weird in navy...the ladies at work liked my shoes, though!
This week has convinced me that I need more warmweather pants. Iordered a pair of wide legs from ON to try.

I think you had an excellent week -this are all fun, put together outfits that worked well for the weather and activities. I love the last two - shoes in both totally bring them up a notch.

Big fan of your boho summer tops. I have a similar formula when is warm. I just started pairing some of my loose tops with wide leg pants and it's a very different look, but sometimes successful in my case if the tops are not overly long.

rachylou- I think that's why. I like navy, and it looks ok on me, but it doesn't feel really authentic to my style. The print on this tank is what attracts me to it (and also what saves it for me), and the accessories make the outfit work- but it's still not really my color palette.

Warm weather pants, a category that can be soooo hard to find….
I love the navy tank, but then I’m a navy person..do you wear white bottoms? I’d love to see this with a pair of white crops, or maybe a pair of white wide leg pants…
And yeah for the dress outfit looks fab for a hot outdoor day!

Looks good to me! Can’t tell from here that the tank under your lace top doesn’t match the pants—looks great.

I’m a sucker for blue & white so predictably I like the last one. Great, versatile outfit. Agree with kkards that white wide-legged crops (a sailor look?) might be fun with this top too.

The lanyard actually improves #4, IMO.

I still love the ON top in finds.

The blouse in #2 is just beautiful! I like all of these outfits, soft and pretty and casual (my style goals actually!)

I don't have any white pants...they're not something I ever really feel comfortable in, either. Which is weird because I have a lot of white lace tops and I generally like a tonal outfit....but with white lace, I usually pair it with denim. I could see one of my white lace tops, wide leg white pants, and a light colored drapey topper working for me.

How about terra cotta pants with the blue/white top? Even the desert has a sky, with occasional puffy clouds, like the pallet at the bottom of #1. You’d want to keep the tonal intensity the same as the blue, but I think I’ve seen you post some that could work. I also like the idea of sage-y green, like in #4, and think you have some like that too.

I hear you on the tank underneath the eyelet lace top! I am attracted to those kinds of tops, but the underlayer is tricky.

I really love all of these outfits. You are in your style groove, for sure. I love that dress on you! It looks so gorgeous with your tattoo! I also think you look fab in that navy print top--that print takes it firmly into your wheelhouse, as you mention.

FI- I'm not sure. Every time I donate clothes, I almost stick it in, but I'm not ready yet.

Try a nude tank under a lace top. I stocked up on blush tanks when they were abailable and am glad I did. They seem to work under everything. I like our hot weather tops.
