This is what I wore today for working in my studio (open to the public today too), and maybe going to the baseball game later.
These COH jeans were too tight a couple of months ago and I nearly gave them away in despair, but I guess hiking 8-10 miles a day for two weeks does a body good, and I can fit back into them now. However, the long straight leg has always been a bit of a challenge to work with. I finally decided to do something I'd been wanting to try -- opening up the side seam to create vents at the hem, which makes the jeans easier to wear without rolling or cuffing them. I have plenty of other jeans to roll/cuff, and it's hard for me to find jeans long enough to wear at full length with any kind of heel, so I think I'll get more wear out of these now.
I dug out a closet orphan as well -- this old black and white jersey knit moto from INC. It tends to look a bit too polished/dressy for my current taste, but paired with a graphic tee, jeans and sneakers, it works better for me.
I don't know how current the Ash wedge sneakers are, but they're comfy, casual, and I still like them, so I'm wearing them!
Added my blue backpack and the scarf to tie together all the colors.
PS Oh, almost forgot, I got my hair cut and colored the other day, and my stylist got the light streaks even more of a cool platinum -- I like it even better than I did before!
