WIW 5/6, 5/7, 5/8: Cool weather and bright colors

1, Monday was quite cold and rainy so I layered my new leopard shirt with a cardigan and a jacket. I felt like the colors were a little unseasonable, but this outfit suited the weather and I felt good in it.

Leopard shirt: J Crew via consignment
Espresso cardi: Halogen
Teal jacket: Amber Sun
Tan pencil skirt: Halogen
Tan belt: YLF swap
Espresso tote: Elliott Lucca
Nude shooties: Seychelles

2. Yesterday I busted out my new orange pencil skirt and paired it with a navy blazer as a concession to the continued cool weather. I'm not sure this outfit was a home run -- any suggestions for improvement?

Orange skirt: Halogen
Navy blazer: GAP
Print top: Veronica M
Studded belt: Streets Ahead
White/navy/gold pumps: Seychelles
White satchel: Banana Republic

3. Today was a little warmer but still cool. I was super happy with the matchy-matchy-matchy white belt, pumps, and bag. What do you all think?

The silhouette of #3 is SO FLATTERING! These are all perfect in their own way. However, that one just strikes me as so pretty with the shape and length of the skirt and the white belt making your waist look TEENY-TINY!

So bright and cheerful! You can pin these outfits and wear them again in the fall. Yeah, what's up with this crazy weather (but I'm NOT complaining). I'm especially loving the first out fit with teal and camel and leopard. I think I have the same shirt! It says J. Crew The Perfect Shirt in the label and I got it at the Buffalo Exchange here.

Yes, Claire! That's the shirt! I looked for the perfect leopard shirt for months and months and scored this one for $20 at the consignment store! Yay!!

All great outfits! You're right the first one looks more fall than spring, but matching the weather is reasonable! I do that a lot in Seattle--a cool, damp, drizzly summer day may find me in grays and subdued colors rather than brights.
Love #3 especially, with the colors and the white accents.
I can see why you felt like #2 wasn't a home run. It's not as super-fab as many of your looks--but you gotta keep in mind, for most people, including me, it would be a stellar achievement! It's all relative. That said, I think it's the navy blazer that somehow over-tames the outfit. It's a bit staid, it's not as crisp a silhouette as your usual looks, and I think the color kind of tamps down the colors of the blouse and skirt. What if you topped that same outfit with a white or cream jacket instead?

There's nothing wrong with anything in any of these! I love the colors in all of them. My favorite is #3 because it is so cheerful, and the matching belt, bag and shoes are awesome. Maybe the proportions are a tad off in #2, but only by a smidgen. I love your outfits and want to have that leopard shirt! And the white bag, belt and shoes.

Love #3 all the way.
For #2 I think it's the amount of orange showing. The proportion of showing skirt in #1 would work with the orange, but I love the colors together.
For #1 I would leave off the belt or the cardi (the jacket and cardi at exact same length seem off to me.
