WIW 5/5: The Magic Dress saves the day again!

I had a busy weekend and didn't get around to planning an outfit for today, so I reached for a FFBO (fast fallback outfit) in the form of my beloved Magic Dress. The colors are a little fall-like, but I feel like the white accessories bring it into spring.

Dress: Nine West
Purple jacket: Amber Sun
White pumps: Jessica Simpson
White satchel: Banana Republic

I always feel like there's nothing like a dress when you're in a sartorial bind! Your thoughts?

I love it! You're right, the white is just the perfect light touch.

Now, I must tell you how much I like both of the pictures behind you. I believe I had the one on the right on my wall for many years. I got it at the Norton Simon many years ago as the free print of the day. And the Tour Eiffel one is so charming too!

When in doubt -- apply color and heels! You look great. I rarely remember my FFBOs when I'm standing in the closet -- staring -- at 7am.

Gorgeous! I have long been intrigued by this dress. It really does look fab on all who wear the style. My winter FFBO for work is easily a black dress, black leggings and bootie:)

I may be sending (or bringing!) you mine, which I never seem to wear any more. Now and then they are PERFECT for an occasion, but otherwise I'm wasting them. You look amazing, of course.

The white bag and pumps really pull the eye to the white in the Magic Dress so that it sings of Spring. White dogwood blooming next to red, yellow and purple tulips.

A Magic dress (thank you elphgal) was the first thing I bought after a 3 month SYC when I first started following YLF. Fast, easy, and always fab.
