Marianna thanks! We decided to have pulled pork nachos, instead of pizza. This is as close to fast food as I get, I don't do it often, and it was delicious!
Mochi love the "casual chic" comment...I've been searching for a suitable moniker and I think this one does the trick. It WAS a lot
of fun, the highlight was a 17 year old high school senior who blew everyone away with his renditions of Clapton, Stevie Ray, and BB King
Joy thanks for the comment, doing everything I can to feel like spring in spite of it not really arriving yet...
Angie...never thought of my hair style as Cleopatra bob or like Anna W .... wow what wonderful thoughts! I tend to see it as Doris Day or the pixie cut I wore all through my childhood, which are both fine but not so modern Don't know if I could do a sharper version, my hair grows so fast that shorter cuts lose their shape in 2 or 3 weeks. I did however
get a slightly shorter cut 3 weeks ago and letting my bangs grow a bit so maybe will land at a new style soon..
Firecracker, thanks for compliments. This necklace was a great buy a few years ago, I wear it a lot. Just a little bit of sparkle is good with so many things and the colors really work with my wardrobe.
BrieN yes just the right note...:-) None of the musicians had anyone singing harmony with them so I chimed in just for myself and DH on a few of the songs I knew well. It was a structured open mic - not quite loose enough for me to feel comfortable officially joining the performers.
RachyLou Thanks...didn't realize I was doing double denim until I left the house...:-)
KiwiGal/Sally - wow I think that's the first time I've been told I wore an elongating outfit! Love it!
bj1111 yep agree on the necklace. It's actually still offered by Stella and Dot I think it's been a big seller for them
