WIW 5/27: It's easy being green!

Today I am leading the opening song at my Rotary Club meeting so I wanted to look a little more put-together than usual. I love this not-quite-a-suit not-quite-matching green skirt and jacket together!

Taupe bag: Target

In other news, it's been a little over three months since I broke my ankle and I am cautiously trying out a pair of my not-super-high high heels. Hopefully I will get through the day without any mishaps!

Love your outfit! And be careful! I hope you fare well and can start wearing more of your favorite shoes! Sometimes it's best to alternate in the beginning between a low heel and flat as your muscles and tendons get accustomed.

Thank you, everybody! I am pleased to report my ankle did just fine in the heels. I swear I think all the subway stairs and walking in NYC last weekend was therapeutic!

Beth Ann, our guest speaker was the owner of a startup company, so we sang The Impossible Dream in his honor! LOL Firtunately he had a good sense of humor!

Well, Mary "Impossible Dream" is an example of the "go bold or go home" mentality so needed in a startup. It has that long slow build to the upper register that requires some good breath and chutzpah, too!
