WIW 5/27: Dressing down a dress with denim jacket

Hubby and I went to brunch and a matinee today at our local theatre (saw 'Follies' -- big thumbs up from both of us)! I like to dress up a little for the theatre so I wore a dress I got a while ago and hadn't debuted yet. It was a little cool so I grabbed my white denim jacket and was really happy with how it dressed down the look for a daytime event!

Snake print clutch: Veronica M
Nude microfishnets: Oroblu
Multi metallic braided belt: eBay
Pewter pumps: Nine West
"Nancy Pelosi" multicolored faux pearls: made by me

Nothing can beat a crisp denim jacket over a dressy dress for a daytime event: I wore the same formula last Sunday to the Cirque du Soleil.
You looked lovely and chic, MaryK! I would skip the necklace for my version of this outfit but I am not in the ALGO camp.:-)
