WIW 5/23: Copying Vicki, waiting for Rae with crazy hair

Rae is coming out for a girls' lunch today! Yay! It's cool and overcast so I'm taking the opportunity to copy one of Vicki's fab travel outfits! I changed out the dark booties for light shooties, and the skinnies for BFs, to keep it springier. Although of course I can't possibly come close to Vicki's fab sophistication!

My Brazilian blowout is pretty much worn off, and I decided to forego the blow-dry and see if I could reproduce one of the wavy bobs that are suddenly in style, a la my Pinterest hairstyle board. Not awesome, but I think if I whack off a bit of the length in front it might work. What do you think?

Love the outfit. Have been doing similar. So much love for a Breton/mariner stripe T! I think you could really do the hair ( great Pinterest board btw) but do the chop short in back, long in front.

The longer front makes it feel more feminine, and if you change your mind, growing out the back, and getting things long enough for a pony tail happens faster since it takes FOREVER to grow short front layers long enough to pull back.

I'm sure whatever you do will be great, 'cause I've never seen you step wrong style wise, and you do 'bravely go where no ( wo) man has gone before!'

My keratin treatment is mostly worn off too. Lasted for six months so I really cannot complain. Since our weather is now turning humid, I may go for another on my next salon visit.

I think a wavy bob is great for you! I've been experimenting with mine lately, too, because I think it does look more current than the flat-ironed look.
I love the wavy styles on your Pinterest board way more than the pouffier ones that look rather dated to me.

I thought that letting my hair go wavy would be easier than straightening it, but sadly that hasn't been the case. "Intentional" waves are just as much trouble. I'll be eager to see how you style yours as your blow-out grows out.

How fun, a triplet outfit. I forgot all about Angie's outfit. I always like an outfit with stripes (or dots) my two favorite prints. They just always seem to work.
