WIW 5/22: Aqua skinnies and Docs

I had planned to wear my orange striped sweater with my aqua skinnies today, but I wasn't really feeling it so I substituted an old favorite top and white denim jacket. you can't really tell from the photo, but the color of the jeans is prominently featured in the print of the top. It must have looked okay because one of my fellow seminar participants said I was the "most fashionable person here!" LOL

Aqua skinnies: Levi's (men's)
Multi top: Laura Max
White denim jacket: AT Loft
Black and white platform oxfords: Doc Marten
Colorblock bag: Vince Camuto

That's a standout outfit for sure! I like that you found men's Levis to fit you - how did you figure out the sizing or just measure hips and use that for waist in mens fit?

Christieanne, believe it not I scored these skinnies for $4 at the Goodwill. Tried 'em on, they fit, end of story. I only figured out they were men's when I got them home and looked online for more colors! Crazy, huh?

Oooo! I'm taking notes as I recently got my first pair of colored skinnies and they are very close to that shade. Love the top with them and I KNOW you were the most fashionable person at your conference. NO doubt about that. They should let you teach a little workshop!

Great outfit and great compliment, Mary! My chiropractor said something similar the other day, but there were only about 5 people there, lol. Yours is way better! The bag and shoes are practically a matching set, which tickles me pink. Your white jacket is making me totally antsy to get my own.

I read a tip on a blog a while back to try men's skinnies for a less muffin toppy fit. Seeing this pic has me convinced I have to check out the men's jeans. What a great find!
