Thank you very much for your kind words, ladies! I am too enjoying the soft color palette. I also appreciate your compliments on my shoulders - I think that they are my favorite body part together with my waist.
Muffin, when worn of the shoulder, I find the top does move some, so I have to readjust it occasionally. It does not annoy me, but I know it might some people. I find that knitted off the shoulder tops, like the black one I am attaching that I wear for dancing, stay put much better.
Lisap, no worries, I took your words as a great compliment, thank you! I am not that tall at 5'6", and not evenly proportioned either with my very long torso and very short legs, but I have learned to accept who I am, including the parts I dislike, such as my neck scars from all the surgeries, my upper legs ( stretch marks and cellulite galore). Sometimes I employ smoke and mirrors tactics and sometimes I don't, it all depends on how I feel that day.
As for shopping, I do it mostly online. I am a good hunter, and learned good searching skills throughout the grad school. So I look for bargains I
can afford that are still of decent quality. It is a bit of a hobby, and to be a bit painfully honest, also an escape from reality as in general I am not very happy with my life and the last couple of years have been extremely tough. I spend a lot of time online anyway working so I occasionally I take breaks and browsing for cute things relaxes me. If I find something I like and can afford I will pull the trigger- this blue of the shoulder top was $17 and it is cotton and a good Tibi knock off. I have to say that I enjoy the browsing process much more than the actual buying.
