WIW 4/9: Black and white and red and radiant orchid

I've seen a lot of red with radiant orchid (the 2014 Pantone Color of the Year) on Pinterest, and I felt like the white skirt was a nice way to lighten it up. The black shoes and bag are my answer to the question "What would Rachel Bilson do?" because she carried a black bag with a red blazer in one of my very fave outfits ever. LOL

White skirt: Zara
Radiant orchid long sleeve tee: Lands End
Red blazer: H&M
Black pumps: Target
Black satchel: Cole Haan
"Pearls:" J Crew

I see that most of this outfit is low end/"fast fashion," but as Angie says, leave no retail stone unturned! What do you all think?

I was skeptical of the color combo, but I love this. It looks fresh and sophisticated with the white. Love the flippy skirt, too.

You look stunning! #1 is great, #2 is so classic and flattering. That skirt cut is amazing on you, as are the orchid and white colors.

With the length of the jacket sleeves, I'd maybe try pushing them up a bit. Otherwise, you are set to hobnob with blue bloods.

Oh wow this is a great color combo! Rich looking. I'm with Angie, the black shoes were completely unexpected and look super. Having high and low end pieces means that sometimes we end up with all low, eh?
