WIW 4/5: New to me GAP boyfriends with crop top

I snapped up these GAP Sexy Boyfriends when Una put them up for grabs, and boy am I glad I did! They are my regular size, which is a size down from the pair I've worn and loved for the past year-plus, and I really like the slimmer fit! Yay!

I got this top when Angie was in Santa Monica with us, and although I love it, it's been hard to style because it rides up at the waist. So my solution is to officially declare it a "crop top" and style it over a longer shirt per Angie's awesome blog post!

the pants are a dream! . . . I'm less sure of the top layered as a crop. Maybe a boxier fit if it's going over another top?

Oh wow. Wow! This is the third pair of seriously than 15 minutes. You girls raise the bar of what the right jeans means, looks and (I'm sure) feels like.

The jeans are a perfect fit, and I like the cropped sweatshirt over the chambray top. I agree with Mo that a boxier fit would be a perfect ten, but I think it works as is.

Oh my gosh Mary - the jeans are perfect on you! I mean, girlfriend, you look hot-hot-hot! Also, I'm swooning over the boots - do they have a wedged heel? I love the Zara top - but am wondering if it has a welted hem on it? - or something that makes it look a little slimmer than perhaps a cropped top is supposed to be? Whatever - it is a very minor detail in the overall fabulous outfit. (You already know how I feel about that jacket - and still, have. not. changed. my mind (Love ya'!)

Yes, the top has an elastic bottom. But I still would rather style it like this than give up on it!

The boots are my old faves with a high stacked heel.
