I have a strange relationship with colors in the rust/orange/coral family: they are too warm for me and really wash me out. I like them, but they are not my favorite colors. However, they look so good with various shades of blue which I wear a lot that I have started to incorporate them a little in my wardrobe, in items worn away from my face. So far there is an old pair of coral shorts, a new pair of coral flats and this pair of jeans by James Jeans here. I am not sure if they are pale peach or warm blush, my perception changes depending on what I wear them with. But I love them with blue tops, so when I saw this morning's ensemble I knew immediately what I am going to wear.
I paired the peach jeans with pale blue Thomas Mason for J Crew tuxedo shirt, Gap cognac belt and old pale gold Born loafers. The BR bag is also cognac. Normally I would top it of with a white pleather moto like in #3, but today I am judging a poster event at work so I could dress a bit more formal, so I wore my white linen blazer instead, the #2 version. The bag and belt hardware, as well as the buttons on the blazer are also gold.
As always, all the comments and suggestions are welcome, and am also curious of your perception of the jeans color.
