Saturday I had a fancy work dinner to go to. Wanted to look festive but not too bare and not like I was trying too hard. I was happy to be able to shop my closet for this look, which I think was fun but not over the top. The dress has a little sparkly metallic gold in the pattern, and the shrug has a little beading around the opening.

Funny story: To make up for the fact that I went to the dinner without Hubby, we arranged to meet in the hotel bar after the dinner, and pretend we didn't know each other. Well, apparently we look so much like an old married couple that when he came in, sat on the next bar stool, and ordered a drink, the bartender looked at me and said "Are these together?" ROFL So much for our naughty role-play scenario!
