WIW 4/26: Pinterest copycat with new hair

I copied this pic a while ago and the weather hasn't cooperated until now. It was a cool spring day so I busted it out. I was disappointed that my bright white pants didn't go with the off-white in the sweater, so I went with the shape of the pants instead of the color and it worked reasonably well. I love the red jacket with the neutrals!

Gray wide leg pants: YLF swap
Striped sweater: J Crew
Red blazer: H&M
Gray pumps: Madden Girl
Black tote: Coach

I ended up getting my hair cut to chin length, shorter in the back with more layers. And we darkened the color just a tad. Super happy with how it turned out. I also had them do my makeup at the salon and then I went out and bought everything they used on me and came home and tossed all my old makeup and brushes. I hadn't had a new makeup look in ages and I'm happy with how this looks -- neutral eyes and a brighter cheek.

I don't feel like the photo quite does any of it justice, but here it is anyway for your review and analysis!

Wow!! Very cute! I think this would look lovely with your white skirt too.

And I like your cut (I have something similar a bit longer though). I cannot see your make up that well. But from what I see, your cheeks do look like they are glowing. YLF!

Great job in matching the pin. It's spot on. I also like your cut. I'd love to see different ways you can style it. I think it would look great slicked back on the sides for a clean look like the pin. Not sure if it's your make or the fact you look confident and happy but your skin is glowing!

MaryK makeover! WooHoo! Of course, you didn't "need" it, but refreshing hair and makeup can be such a great way to start a new season. Love the color and cut and the makeup adds great warmth and softness.

And life is always better with wide legs. I love the swishy feelings around my legs! The stripes and red on top give it the traditional MaryK pop!
