WIW 4/23 and 4/24: Neutral pants and bright jackets!

It's been cool and drizzly around here this week so I've gone back to pants to stay warm. I am really happy with my Ann Taylor Classic Fit dress pants!

1. Tan pants: Ann Taylor
Blue/orange multi top: Veronica m
Cobalt jacket: Nordstrom Rack
Metallic braided belt: eBay
Off white/navy/bronze shoes: Seychelles
Tan "ostrich" tote: Target

2. Brown pants with tiny herringbone pattern: Ann Taylor
Off-white leopard top: Ann Taylor
Brown leopard scarf: Some internet sample sale
Red jacket: H&M
Espresso booties: Report
Red coat: Burberry via consignment

I had been looking for a tan handbag for a while and was pleasantly surprised to find this "ostrich" tote at Target over the weekend. It's roomy and lightweight and I'm really happy with it. I don't think it's quite as yellow as it looks in the photos, BTW.

Both outfits are wonderful! The blouse in #1 seems to function as a scarf to tie everything together. Animal print and red is an unbeatable combination. I really like the ostrich bag, especially the bit of texture.

Jealous of your pants, girl! Perfect with the bright jackets - and what a Target find in that bag! It looks much more spendy, and I've always had a soft spot for ostrich.

Awesome x2! The pants fit beautifully, and I really love the blue in 1 and the pattern mix in 2. I cannot believe you got that bag at Target! My Target just doesn't cut the mustard, apparently. I love bags with texture, like snake, croc, or ostrich. Total score!

Excellent fit and PPL in the trousers, MK. The print and cobalt in #1 are so fun and flattering. In #2 have you tried tucking and belting? Love the print in the top, but could it be just a twinge big in the midriff? Of course, the jacket creates a magnificent pop of color that ties everything together beautifully!
