Lisa, these pants were a lucky find. I had been keeping an eye out for them after seeing yours, but they were sold out online, and nowhere to be found in the B&M stores around here. I popped into one location one day to check out a long sleeve tee, and lo and behold, there was one single lone pair in the Bordeaux color -- on sale, and final sale at that. I almost didn't try them on because in Lulu pants like this, I usually need to size up to fit in the thigh, and these were an 8. But I tried them on, just in case, and they *just* fit. I almost didn't buy them because they were so close -- and yes, as Elizabeth noted, the calves are quite fitted, *almost* too fitted for me. But they do give a little bit with wear, just enough to make them work for me. And maybe I've lost a couple of pounds since I maxed out this winter. Although I notice that they sure don't fit me the way they do the model.
Thanks for all the lovely comments about my work, too! I had fun putting this together, and my fellow artists and I made a good team hanging the show together today. Wearing a really comfortable and appropriate outfit for the work made it that much more pleasurable. The shoes made me smile whenever I looked at them, so I'm glad I kept them.
