WIW 4/18 and 4/21: Dresses for work and church

I had the day off Friday and spent Friday and Saturday running around doing errands and didn't get photos taken. But I did manage to get snaps from Thursday and Sunday!

1. Thursday work look. It was a little chilly and I liked being covered up. I think the white bag and green shoes made it seasonally appropriate for spring.

White satchel: Banana Republic
Megapearl pendant: ASOS
Nude microfishnets: Oroblu

2. Sunday for church. It warmed up overnight -- yesterday it hit 91 degrees and I suspect today will be similar! I really liked this outfit, and after the service a lady came up to me and said "You look so great! The dress, the accessories -- everything is just perfect!" She was very surprised when I told her the dress was from the consignment store and very pleased when I told here the name and address of the consignment store! Big fun!

Thanks for looking! I'm sorry I've been scarce around here -- things are slowly getting a little more normal so hopefully I'll be a little more regular on a going-forward basis!

Mary, that's amazing about the temperature change. Can you please send some of that our way? As for your church look, no wonder you got compliments. It's an incredibly fresh and feminine look and aren't you glad you went for that bag? Love your FFB dress in #1, too. Glad things are settling a bit for you.

Ohmigosh, best scroll-down FUN ever. The green pumps are making me green with envy and are smashing with your navy ensemble, and love the strappy brown sandals which balance nicely with the brown/white dress. Fantastic shoe collection. I like seeing how versatile your BR satchel is as well.

Oh my MaryK - I would wear your church dress in a second! It has such a gorgeous shape and the detailing around the neck and hem are so fabulous and fun. Beautifully accessorized with your white handbag and sandals.

And you are right that the green pumps and white bag completely springify your first outfit.

I remember that second dress. It was one of the choices for your lady who lunch charity event wasn't it. I saw a woman at either a baby or wedding shower right after that with the same vibe and I felt so under dressed sitting next to her. Gorgeous on you.
