WIW 4/15: Coral and leopard

Obviously 2014 is The Year of Copying for me. I loved the coral with leopard here and couldn't wait to copy it!

Tan pencil skirt: Halogen
Leopard shirt: J Crew via eBay
Coral cardi: GAP
Cognac pumps: Nine West
Colorblock tote: Vince Camuto

This boyfriend cardigan was one of my first post-YLF purchases and I'm wondering whether it's looking a little frumpy three years in. I keep it around because I love the color but I wonder whether I should let it go because I don't feel all that fab in it any more. Thoughts?

Is the cardigan something that you can let go of and never look back. Or a piece that you will have to replace. I think it looks great with this outfit.

You NEED a coral topper to keep wearing this great outfit, but you might give this one up for something better. I love jackets on you...more powerful yet the color keeps it approachable.

Love the outfit! ref. cardi, it's not looking frumpy for itself, but if you would replace it with a blazer in the same color , now that will be some upscaled thing, for sure. And even much more Mary K(for work):-)

Lovely outfit and fab coral colour on you. MaryK I can actually tell by the photo that you don't feel fab so I would pass the cardigan on. OR relegate it to casual weekend wear.

Coral and leopard print? Who knew? Love it! And coral is lovely on you! I love a cardi because it comes across as 'soft, but maybe you need a more structured, 'rack off' piece for your wardrobe?

Yes, the year of the copy cat! (Isn't The Year of the Cat and old song or something?) I vote keep the cardi, at least as a placeholder until you find a blazer in that color. You look fantastic.

Don't get rid of the cardi, it's just proved how great it can look! Much better with the cardi than the blazer, IMO. You look fab in this!

Joy, you're right that I do need this color topper in my wardrobe so I think I'll keep the cardi at least until the right coral jacket comes along!

Deborah, I don't know whether what you're seeing is my feeling-unfabness, or me feeling tired because I uncharacteristically took my outfit photo at the end of the day!
