WIW 4/14 with bonus 3D parents

Today my parents came to visit in the Bachelorette Pad, and had a grand old time watching a movie in 3D on my big new TV! LOL Aren't they cute?

I'm afraid you can't really see the details of my outift, but the pants are gray and black micro-check, and the top is a gray and black small stripe, and I enjoyed the subtle pattern mixing. Did a semi-tuck to show off the neon green belt to pick up the neon green in the scarf, and finished it off with my fave pewter boat shoes. Very nice for a casual day with the parental units! (And look! I finally hung a picture next to the chair from the Woman Cave!)

They are matchy-matchy!! Adorable. I note, also, that your mother shares your love for scarves. Though if she were my mother, I'd be worried she would trip on it. (My mother is the one who fell and broke her foot and ankle last year, so you know...I am on her case about these things.)

I really like the outfit too, the scarf goes so well and adds great colour to it. It's nice to see you wearing boat shoes.....I found a metallic pair on sale at Nordstrom this weekend and bought them. Afterwards, I thought....hmmmmm, maybe these are too 80's so I debated about keeping them. But they're really comfy and I like them for casual wear.

With all due respect, who cares what you are wearing, LOL ! Your parents are just so cooooool ! I also love how they match. I love it that your dad "dresses" with a blazer to go visit and that your mom has that long, flowing scarf. It is almost Mad Men see the future.

You do look great, btw. I don't recall ever seeing you in brown. It suits you really well and plays well with your parents' blues.
