I'm trying to get in wears of my items that have a short seasonal window, and this shirt is one of them. It is by Lucky Brand and was a gift from my sister -- I love the comfortable chambray and the scarf print detail. But it's pretty limited in bottoms I can wear with it, and it's a little too substantial to wear in summer around here. So here it is with cream BR jeans (which I can just fit into again, yay) - pretty much the only bottoms I wear with this shirt since I don't like to do blue chambray with blue denim.
I had trouble picking out shoes for this ensemble, and wasn't happy with any of my flat or slip-on sneakers with this today, so I tried the new Lucky lace-up sandals. I need a pedicure! My unpainted toes feel a little naked. It didn't feel quite right with the usual rolled hems, so I tried a big cuff on the jeans instead. I straightened out the one side after I saw it in the photo. And I figured the cognac bag goes with it all well enough.
Spring is not my easiet season to dress for -- transitioning out of my comfort zone of boots and jackets is hard, and it never feels quite as "me" as dressing for winter. Wearing light tones head to toe always makes me feel a little conspicuous too. But here it is.
Feedback welcome.
