I couldn't believe how perfectly this top and these shoes matched one another! I know the matchy matchy isn't everybody's cup of tea, but I liked it!

What do you think? Too matchy or nicely coordinated?

I love a good match! The woman cave is the perfect backdrop for this as well. Look how the color of that vest and your statement necklace make your eyes sparkle. You look fab Mary Lou! And I need to go thrifting/consigning with you!

Wowee statement necklace! Love it - doesn't come across as matchy to my eye, since the print of the top is small scale. I am happy to see I am not the only one who still wears sweater vests.

RU kidding? I love matchy. In fact any thread with the word matchy in it makes me want to open it immediately. The pants, shoes and blouse are great together and you make them trendelicious by adding the blue sweater vest and statement necklace. I think I like this outfit best in the first and third pictures. In other words, without the blazer. I think the outfit with the sweater vest and the trench is modern, or maybe it's retro, I can't tell. It reminds me of the 70s and Ines de la F. at the same time.

Mary, may I ask, which AT pants do you buy? What's the style name? I want to switch from my trusty Editors - There is nothing wrong with them, I have worn them steady for a couple years now and I get bored - to more menswear inspired pants, so I'm on the lookout!

Thanks, ladies! I totally got the idea for the vest-over-button down from TX Sarah, who rocks it like nobody's business! Well, she reminded me of it anyway, because I wore this look all. the. time. in high school in the 70s! LOL

Zap, the pants are the AT Modern Fit Trousers. I get the petites and have the hems taken DOWN to get PPL.

And Denise, I like it better without the blazer, too, but I feel like it's necessary to make it work appropriate. Then I take it off and hang it on a hanger on the coat rack in the corner of my office where everybody can see it! LOL
