WIW: 4.10.12 Thrifted Polka Dot Blazer

Sorry I haven't been around too much lately. My oldest is getting married in less than 2 months, so I'm a bit preoccupied with that. Anyway, I did find some time to go to the thrift store last week, after being inspired by Shannon's post and the other thrifty FAB-ers.

I actually lucked out and found this polka dot blazer, a black/white striped button up that fits perfectly and a leopard print leather belt! Anyway, today I thought I'd try the blazer. It's actually navy, not black like it looks and paired it with some fun color blocked shoes I bought this weekend when DH and I went down to Montana for a little US shopping.

First of all, you look WAY too young to have an "oldest" getting married!
Secondly, you did AWESOME thrifting. That jacket is so current (love the tipping), it flatters you and suits your style. I love it with the striped shirt and the rest of your outfit! Those are amazing color blocked shoes. *must stop at TJMaxx on way home*

Wow, thanks everyone! This all makes me feel great after a hard day yesterday. I was having second thoughts about the jacket after my one daughter, who usually is a good judge of fashion told me she thought it looked like an "old lady jacket". I love it thought and feel better after all of your nice comments!

BTW, I'm definitely old enough to have a daughter getting married! lol

And, thanks Angie!! The killer rating made my day for sure!! I'm trying to work on getting more casual outfits that I really like, instead of my dress up ones that I wear once a week. I'm learning alot here on YLF!!
