I've had a fantastic weekend celebrating my 40th birthday. Thank you all for the birthday wishes on Angie's bday thread on Friday, I was overwhelmed by your kind words. I'm relieved to be feeling optimistic about all the new adventures my forties may bring.
My husband took me out for dinner on Friday night to celebrate and my in-laws babysat the kids for us. It was surprisingly warm here all weekend (back in the deep freeze today though). I was able to get away with the nude microfishnets, which I've only discovered since joining YLF. Love them!
And I am a late participant in Ingunn's Weekend Wrap challenge. Thank you Ingunn for the inspiration, though I'm not quite as masterful at styling. Black DVF wrap dress I've had for several years. I only have a few wraps in my closet as they aren't necessarily my most flattering style, but they are definitely classics. Paired with my turquoise pumps for a bit of colour and my Miu Miu cat print clutch. Black leather jacket makes the ensemble feel more like me.
