Last night my husband and I planned a small dinner party -- just two friends over so I could try a new recipe. I spent the day cooking and we cleaned up the house and Hubby set a pretty table. By 6:00 we were all ready. By 6:30 our friends hadn't shown up so I texted, and it turned out for she thought we'd forgotten we'd invited her because we saw her a few days ago and didn't mention it. I told her to come on over anyway, which she did although her date wasn't available, and we ended up having a great time.
Anyway, top is from a Short Story box, drawstring-waist navy pants are from a Korean boutique in my local mall, I've had the pink sparkly Keds for ten years. And you can't see it, but I'm wearing pink Druzy quarts earrings to match my pink sparkly sneakers. The necklace was a gift from a dear friend. Casual and comfy for hosting.
