WIW 3/27: Leather and navy for a trip to the dentist

I have an 8 a.m. at the dentist so I'm going UWP to keep my courage up!!

Navy ankle pants: Banana Republic
Tweedy jacket: Banana Republic
Leather peplum top: Halogen
Black pumps: Target
White satchel: Banana Republic

I am a little seasonally confused this week because after a super warm winter with temps in the mid to high 80s a lot of the time, it's gotten much cooler this week and it's been in the mid to high 60s, which are winter temps for us! So just as I was reconciling myself to not getting to wear my cooler weather clothes, the weather says "yes," but the calendar says "too late!" Gah. Hopefully this outfit hits the sweet spot.

Thanks, ladies! I am pleased to report that the dentist gave me a clean bill of dental health and sent me on my way! Yay!

I forgot to mention that the trim on the jacket is pleather, hence the perhaps-seemingly-random choice of the leather top to go with it.

Afraid not exactly... I don't wear pencil skirts that often, MaryK, as my office has pretty relaxed rules, if any. I like the look, though, and I generally like the way you combine colors and accessories. You're blond, so different colors look good on you, but you can still be used as inspiration!

I think black is one of those seasonless colors, it's all about the fabrics to give black a season. And this is a real rockstar type of look, you are the style chameleon.
