WIW 3/18: Top, pants, jacket, fab shoes

I swear, these awesome Docs make even the simplest outfit feel super awesome. I am meeting some friends from grad school for dinner after work and my outfit happiness factor is very high today!

Black pants and jacket: Comptoir Des Cotonniers
Red/black peplum top: Can't remember... got it at the Rack
Saddle oxfords: Doc Marten
Mega-pearl pendant: ASOS
Colorblock tote: Vince Camuto

Normally I'd have put a scarf with this outift, or a belt, or something else to make it more maximal. But I am digging the (relative) simplicity of this look. What do you all think?

I think you have just enough going on. This is how I prefer a pendant necklace too. Smart and sassy and it makes you happy! Sounds like a win!

Happiness factor is key and I learned that a couple of weeks ago for the umpteenth time, after promptly forgetting it and then remembering again! You look spectacular and your top reminds me of my red/black VC bandage top. Have a grand night with your grad friends and radiate happiness!

Perfection! I wouldn't change a thing. It's funny how a striped peplum top, a pendant necklace, oxford shoes and a colour block handbag is "simplicity" for you - lol!

And I think you and I are the only ones left that still love and wear our Doc Saras!

I think the addition of the peplum, just adds the perfect amount of interest to this outfit. Those pants paired with the top give you such an elongated look. You are gorgeous! Have a fabulous evening out with your friends!

Tells you how the word docs clearly means only one thing to me!!

I don't think Lyn, Parsley,Nicole or any of the other docs here could ever compare to DocMartens but we will try!
