WIW 3/18: Back to work in navy, camel and olive

Back to work today after more than two weeks goofing off with my boy! These olive shoes are new and have been a little challenging to style, but I like them as a random pop of color with this navy and camel outfit!

Navy striped top: Lands End
Navy blazer: GAP
Camel pencil skirt: Halogen
Olive pumps: Jessica Simpson
Studded belt: Streets Ahead

This works for me, the overall palette here is earthy tones, so olive fits right in.

This looks fabulous, but really, you could get dressed in the dark and you would look great.
The shoes look black on my monitor but the color combo of camel, navy and olive sounds wonderful.

Aw, thanks, ladies!

Pil, the Marine is spending this week with his dad a few hours up the coast. I'll pick him up in Santa Barbara on Saturday and then he'll have one more week here before reporting to his new duty station (90 miles from here) for his final year. And some time in the next couple of weeks he wants to buy a car. Big fun!!

ETA Joy, the shoes do look black in the photo. Crazy. You'll have to take my word for it that they're basically the same color as the bag, but several shades darker.

It works. It always works. I want to see the shoes with some of your other green and olive goodness, but this is a great combo.

Happy that your break was as good as it was - and hope going back to work isn't too much of a letdown!
