WIW 3/14: A rainbow look for less than $100

Everything in today's outfit was either a bargain or free! Big fun!

Green dress: Lands End Canvas via YLF swap (free)
Neon green belt: Amazon ($10)
Multi bracelet: thrifted (less than $5)
Tiffany blue tote: thrifted (less than $10)
Rainbow pumps: Prabal Gurung for Target ($40)
Turquoise earrings: consignment (about $10)

What do you think? Did I get a high-end look for a low-end price?

I like the idea of this, but I think the green belt fights with the forest green of the dress. The shoes are very cute, and I like the tote as a secondary colour pop.

Oooh, I actually love the forest green as a backdrop for all these brights. It works as a neutral, but softer than black or chocolate, and the colors really stand out. I guess I am on Team Clashing Color... it is edgy to my eye.

Love! On my monitor, the dress looks like it's a deep blue-green, almost a deep teal, which I imagine would complement your baby blues (somehow I think you have blue eyes, am I right?). Anyway, I think you look fab. Rainbow can join leopard on Team Neutrals :).

Rae, I'm glad you think the clashing belt is edgy. I know it's not to everybody's taste, but you'll all have to take my word for it that the shoes are significantly brighter than they look in the photo, so I think/hope they balance it out a bit and help it make sense!

The dress is a deep forest green with a hint of teal and I just love it! Plus it's so soft it feels like a nightie! (*waving at Natalie, who brought it to the swap*)

Yes, Sarah, those are the shoes and I am super pleased with them! They are reasonably comfortable (although admittedly my feet are not all that fussy), and I just LOVE the colors!
