WIW 3/12 to an unexpected meeting

Today I kind of threw my outfit together and my hair is still third-day-after-Brazilian-blowout unmanageable, and wouldn't you know it -- I was called into a meeting with the Big Boss and a whole bunch of people from outside the organization. I was happy I was wearing a jacket, anyway, even though I felt like my blouse was a little low-cut for the occasion. There were a couple of stylish ladies there from an outside agency and they complimented me on my color scheme and my shoes, so I guess it's all good.

Yellow silk blouse: Anthropologie
Tan pencil skirt: Halogen
Teal jacket: Amber Sun
Two-tone oxfords: Miz Mooz
Leopard satchel: Brahmin

Oh, and you can't see it but I'm wearing my leopard belt from Talbots.

What do you think? Do I look reasonably Competent and Serious?

Well you don't look too serious, but I think that is a good thing and you definitely look competent. You know I always assume a well dressed, well put together woman, irrespecitve of her chosen styl is a very together and competent person

I love this color palette -- the teal is the major pop but I love yellows and oranges mixed with tan or beige to "temper" the color punch. Introducing a super saturated teal is genius because the red tones in your shoes and bag play so nicely with the teal and gold. Simply fabulous!
