You've seen this outfit a million times, but I'm pleased because at least it covers Der Brace. The slip on sneakers are new, from Target.

I'm in a celebratory mood today because my Marine becomes my former Marine and will be moving in for a couple of months before heading off to grad school in June! Ooh rah!!

That light color sneaker will be perfect for spring and summer's lighter colored looks. I have a tan with a blue stripe one I am hoping to break out once the weather is warmer and drier in my area.

Cute sneakers! I tried the Target slip ons but they didn't work for me. I don't have fussy feet and can usually wear Target shoes so that was disappointing. Nice that you could cover up the brace with your pants, which look amazingly slim to be able to cover the brace.

House question for you. Did you put the glass door knobs in everywhere or just certain doors. I am in the process of replacing all of mine with the glass ones that I find at salvage yards. It's a fun touch to my older house.

Thanks so much, everyone! Just got a text from my son saying "It's done," so he is footloose and fancy free! Woo hoo!!

Debbie, we put glass knobs in the whole house. My designer is a bargain-hunting genius and found a whole set on Craigslist -- matching antique glass knobs, enough for the whole house, for just $60 total! I think it's a fun, feminine touch!
