Here's what I wore this week--week #4 of the 30X30 project:
Most of my time is spend at home, kid-wrangling, or walking the dog, or making an occasional pilgrimage to the grocery. I have a uniform of casual clothes for this that I do not mind wearing over and over, except that it's making me feel shy to keep posting pictures of the same things--boring for readers, surely! I think there are two days of 30X30 after this, so I'll do one more post of two outfits and put some thoughts with that post.
Pic#1--Still not happy with the fit of the white pants, but they do loosen up a lot over the course of the day.
Pic#2--I bought a new web belt--it's a men's belt from GAP--and I do not love it, but I like having a lower-contrast belt option. The belt has rows of black and white threads and one red thread near the top. The scale, overall, is a bit big and the D-ring buckle is gunmetal whereas I'd prefer if it were stainless or bright.
Pic#3--A variety of outfit variations that got me through the day.
Pic#4--I tried to do something a bit different for a shopping trip. I do not love high contrast implemented in this manner, but I didn't have the choice of tops I would have liked AND I wanted to wear the black pants, which haven't seen a lot of wears during the 30X30.
Pic #5--Casual. At home. I like the GAP belt with this outfit.
Pic#6--Long sleeves on a cooler day.
Pics#7/8--What I'm wearing now and what I think I might wear tonight for a casual dinner out. I do not like the stark contrast, here, so I may choose to wear the white top with the jeans I have on now. I did buy a pair of the GAP Best Girlfriend Jeans and I really like the wash on those--were it not for the 30X30, I'd enjoy wearing the GAP jeans with this top.
Finds: GAP jeans; earring choices for tonight; bag choices for tonight.
