A few outfits I wore this week. Uniform, wouldn’t you agree? Three new sweaters for the season. I didn’t really think I would buy anything this winter, but these enticed me as I did online Christmas shopping for others.


1. Tommy Hilfiger, on sale at Macy’s. I hesitated because the brand is a lot more preppy than I tend to favor. But the price was good and I have been looking for a darker gray cardigan of this boyfriend/button style. I was surprised the stripes include pink because it looked like white and black online. And I think the silver buttons are a little gaudy. The pink tee is from Kohl’s last year. This sweater was SO comfortable and warm. Verdict, success. Almost disastrous though, because I snagged the sleeve on a splinter inside one of my kitchen cabinets! Fortunately I was able to use a snag puller and take care of it.

2. Kohl’s hooded pullover. Very soft, warm and perfect for this year and season. I’ve also enjoyed this chestnut brown color lately.

3. Macy’s Charter Club cotton blend turtleneck. Another success as I don’t mind the extra warmth of the turtleneck this year. And I like the cable pattern in one of my favorite winter colors. Worn over a long sleeve tee for super coziness.
