Went to the Disney Hall last night for some Hayden and Mozart. It was cool and rainy so I chose some neutral layers for warmth, and sensible booties for the walk from the concert hall to dinner and back. This is one of those outfits I had to fight for -- what I ended up with was very different from what I originally had in mind, but I was quite pleased with how it turned out.
Olive/gray cargo pants: Current Elliott
Silk blouse: Emerson Made
Silk knit tank: Ann Taylor
Tweedy jacket: Ann Taylor
Taupe booties: BP
"Python" bag: Elliott Lucca
It was kind of fun because New Guy was also a symphony in neutrals with black jeans, gray sweater, black suede jacket, and awesome cognac loafers. He had just come from a continuing education seminar and was grousing about how all the other lawyers looked "frumpy" (yes, his word!). We agreed that it is important to fight the frump at any age! Gotta love a man who appreciates fashion and style!
As always, I appreciate your candid feedback! Thanks for loooking!
