WIW 2/6 and 2/7: Sona's Dress Challenge, Days 3 & 4, Vintage Edition

It's harder for me to do a dress challenge in the winter because most of my dresses are summery! But these two vintage dresses will do in a pinch! I don't feel super duper fab but it's fun to be doing the challenge with the rest of the dress-wearers this week!

1. I continue to love how these Amber Sun jackets dress up a dress!

Black print dress: vintage
Teal swing jacket: Amber Sun
Black fishnets: Oroblu
Teal patent pumps: Madden Girl
Black studded belt: Target
Black tote: Coach

2. I meant to scrunch up the sleeves of the dress so they didn't show below the jacket sleeves, but I was in a hurry taking photos and I forgotl But they are scrunched now! I love this dress because it reminds me of dresses I wore as a little girl!

Navy/white dress: vintage (I think it's home-sewn!)

Cream/navy/bronze pumps: Seychelles
Necklace: Veroica M (local boutique)

Mary you do colour and print so amazingly well, very inspiring! Love the shape of the second dress in particular. Gorgeous outfits and the bags are just the perfect accents!

Huh. Interesting about #1 being too long. I just thought of it as a midi, but maybe I'll see about shortening it. It does seem a little dowdy. Although maybe that's just the jacket. Both look great to me! I like the length of #1, and would also like it with a suuuper cropped casual jacket (like a leather or denim one). The print is brilliant! And I seriously want to um "borrow" the necklace in #2 0:)
