WIW 2/4: Gray, silver and citron

I was so excited when Angie posted her gray, white and citron ensemble because this has long been one of my favorite combos! Today I skipped the white in favor of silver and added the faded-denim-colored blue bag per Angie's genius idea. Super happy with how it all turned out!

I'm debuting my new "blogger" pose after seeing yesterday how slimming it is to turn partly away from the camera. But I'm not sure the slimming effect is worth the loss of outfit details and... I don't know. Immediacy? Interaction? What do you all think?

I love it! I've always thought citron was a big no-no for me but after seeing it on you I wonder if I should give it another shot. I love it with the gray and silver!!

I love the tonal effect of the blouse and sweater together. I also think the blue bag is a brilliant way to add the light blue of faded denim to your look.

Great pose--you not only show off a good outfit, but you show off your much envied flat stomach.

I won't be posing like that for a long time. I don't even like to look in a mirror sideways if I don't' have to.

Now THIS is how to wear long drapey trousers, just lovely! I prefer the front pose, just because selfish me wants to see outfit details over figure flattery. And I think someone mentioend it in your other thread, but it's easy to see here why some of your toss items, while they may have been favorites, are on their way out. This is such a strong, simple look, but with details, because of the colors and the accessories, versus the older looks, which were softer and relied on more prints and fabrics with more drape as the details.

The citron-chartruese pairing is amazing. And you look sooooo tall in the PPL gray slacks. One of my fav looks and it's fun to see you mixing it up from your signature pencil skirts too.
