1/2. I feel like this outfit is pretty much classic, vintage MaryK, kickin' it old school (where "old school" = "early 2011 when I first found YLF"). I wore this to work and to meet a friend for Happy Hour and really liked it. And the shoes stopped traffic all day long, which was super fun. I totally get that it's not to everybody's taste, but I enjoyed it.

Tiger print top: YLF swap
Houndstooth skirt: Ellen Tracy
Burgundy knit blazer: Carole LIttle
Studded belt: Streets Ahead
T-strap pumps: T.U.K.
White tote: eBay

One of my big shopping list items this spring is a replacement white bag. I have worn the heck out of this one and I'm ready to upgrade.

3. Today I am debuting my Prabal Gurung for Target rainbow pumps. I love them to pieces, not least of all because I remember my mother having a very similar pair of "silk" pumps when I was a very little girl in the early 1960s! So fun! The happiness factor of this outfit is very high, too, because I love the bright colors. (Oh, and AJ -- turns out I have ONE more pastel item in my wardrobe: this thrifted bag!)

Turquoise pencil skirt: Halogen
Turquoise cardi: Halogen
Apple green blazer: GAP
Rainbow pumps: Target
Sky blue tote: thrifted
Pearls: J Crew via eBay

Thanks for looking! I always appreciate your comments and critiques! Happy Friday, Happy First Day of March!
