WIW 2/14: Snake and teal and booties and rust

Pinterest, I just can't quit you! I was instantly smitten when I saw this photo and knew I had to copy it! I have a pencil skirt that is closer to the color of the inspiration shot, but in the end I decided the shape was more important than the color, so here I am wearing the same skirt twice in the same week!

I like how you take a bold you and make it even bolder! The color combo works and the vibe is very modern . I like that in this rotation of trends the full skirts are flared lower on the hip. Very arty look imo.

Love the energy of the color palette and the swing in the silhouette! I adore the booties with it, but this is the one element that fights the image of the "lady lawyer." Of course, I've never been one to cater to a stereotype, so I say....."These booties are made for walkin......."
