WIW 2/10 : Unstructured Dress and Chunky Necklaces - ETA Tall Cognac Boots

HI All,

I bought this dress a few months ago in a boutique near my home and I really liked that moment, but I still haven't worn it until today. Today was a wonderful warm day with a daily temperature of 15 degrees Celsius, nice for a dress. This post inspired me to style my dress as I like chunky necklaces. I usually wear them with chunky sweaters and this time I tried with a dress.

1.Chunky necklace and long necklace, tan suede ankle boots ( Zara) and fuchsia bag - for my friend's birthday at home.( #1)

2.The same chunky necklace, gold sneakers and powder pink bag. ( #2)

3. Another chunky necklace, snakeskin print loafers ( Zara) and yellow mustard bag.( #3)

4.With red patent pumps and bag and two rows of necklaces with a pendant.(#4)

5.I tried with tall cognac boots ( very old), solution for colder weather. What do you think, too earthy or not?(#5).

From #2-4 I plan to wear in the spring with a jacket, trench coat or blazer.

Fab dress, Mirjana! How fun that it came out to play in mild weather. Is it black and mustard?

All the renditions work well! And you've nailed the on trend necklace look. I like #4 best.....KILLER - and #2 and #3 with the sassy gold sneakers and snake loafers are a close second

Fun dress! I can picture a sweater draped over the shoulders for a preppy look. Glad your weather warmed up a little. We hit 50 degrees F the other day and some of the snow melted. The cold is coming back this weekend though

The dress is great on you too, though I'm laughing at the fact that 15C means bare legs & dress weather to you - meanwhile I'm bundled up here in a jumper when it drops down to 15C. Think I've been away from home for far too long now!

Thank you ZAEOBI, you are so sweet. Not bare leg, I have nude tight hoisery 40 den and normally coat. Yes, I am cold too at that temperature.

I really like your dress. I like all your stylings, so it is hard to pick a favorite. #3 and #4 are very different looks but both stand out. Lucky you to have those cognac boots. With more snow predicted for today we are in boot season. YLF.

Thank you JOY for your always kind words and encouraging. Those cognac boots are very old, Rieker and really good. Here is warm for February, today 14 degree Celsius and no snow prediction for next ten days, but who knows.

Oh I see - the nude hosiery is a good match for your skintone then, didn't know you were wearing any!

The cognac boots are a better match for your hair - more mid-toned than black, not too dark.
