WIW: 2 rainy day outfits, mod & country plus Aussie boots!

I have a few WIWs waiting to post. Trying to get caught up without posting too much in one day isn't always easy for me. I'm usually too busy/tired to post at all.

Even though these are WIWs all honest feedback is always welcome with me. Feel free to help me improve:)

First pics are slightly mod meets equestrian with the trapeze/swing-ish raincoat & umbrella being mod & the riding rain boots. A bit of print mixing with the gingham shirt & umbrella. The coat looks more mod closed but I wanted to show the colour combo & print mixing.

Second pics are more country with the hunter boots, chunky cable sweater, olive more utility style raincoat & paisley scarf. The coat is packable, unlined.

Third pics are not rainy day outfit but since I'm trying to get a lot posted & these are my Aussie country, riding boots, I added this outfit to go with the riding & country boot theme. I love these boots & have wanted them for years. They have been handmade in Australia since 1932.

Did you buy the boots when you were in Aus recently?
BYLF I never considered matching my brolley to my outfit-just goes to show how the details can make a good outfit even better!

Lyn I was going to buy some on my last trip but my Mum gave me hers. Even better given the cost of them these days. She wore them about twice! She still has my old leather moto jacket that I couldn't get back from her. It is much better quality than my replacement one so it all works out lol. I wanted to buy an Akubra hat too but hats make my head hotter which gives me a headache. I would only buy one to wear in the Summer so I usually just rely on sunscreen when it is hot. It doesn't protect my part though. Well it would if I put it there but that would make my hair greasy. Someone needs to invent a refrigerator that goes inside hats so we are protected from sun without overheating.

No improvement necessary! I adore each and every one of these outfits! The boots (all of them) look fabulous on you. And the coats are equally fab. Love the bright red with the graphic umbrella. And I also really like the country outfit; you'd be right at home on the English downs...beautiful muted palette. As for the photo with your kitty....well...that is a bonus!
