Pics 1-2: I was so excited for a cool day on Friday to wear my new scarf from Caro! I love it SO much! As the day warmed up, the jacket came off, but I was still able to wear the scarf most of the day. This outfit also has my beloved colorblock top from Loft.
Pics 3-4: I have been trying to follow a new guideline that I have given myself to try to not buy something on sale that I don't love enough to pay full price for, but this is one time when I happily broke my own rule. I let myself potentially waste a little money when it comes to wildcard type items. I walked away from these CAbi jeans even at half price because when I tried them on, everyone told me they weren't the most flattering. But when I was able to get them for $10, I jumped at it. The happiness factor is so high because I own nothing like them. They are distressed and light wash and just the kind of edgy item I like to throw in as an unexpected little something whenever I can manage it. After seeing these photos, I think I maybe need to either roll them higher or wear lower contrast shoes, or both. But it was my first wearing and I'm thrilled anyway. I love them with this linen tank and my new sweater (both also CAbi... it's a CAbi kind of year for me, it seems...)
