True to the challenge Maneera and I dreamed up and other have joined in, I am posting the real truth WIW for today. Nothing special but hey I am dressed and dried my hair straight and put on makeup. So there you have it!

Denim skirt - h&m ions ago, first wear in years
Tshirt - Caslon Nordstrom
Necklace - Tory burch via rack (I remember stressing bc at the time it was $$$ for me - talk about cpw, it's paid for itself by now)
Shoes - gentle souls (finds)

Sorry for the extra stuff in the pic. Still working on self timer pics.

And also I fully understand this silhouette is not everyone's cuppa. I recognize it's basic and the top is not flowy at all. I am attempting to wear what I have and sadly that includes a lot of tshirts. It took me a while to figure out how to find a flattering top that had some movement to it.

Thanks Vicki. Some days it is a matter of clothing my body and nothing more due to so many constraints demanding my time and energy. Today was not quite that bad, but I didn't put a lot of effort into this, and still felt decent. I'm trying to be better about taking time for myself and looking presentable even when just WFH or doing the school runs with the kids. Anyway, I ramble. Thanks for your kind words.

That necklace is terrific! Isn't it funny how we do stress about those purchases, forgetting how often the items will be worn? I know I am terrible about buying accessories and really have to force myself.

I like the outfit very much too. It's got clean lines and looks very comfy. It's the kind of thing I often wear myself, so high-five! Honestly, I prefer t-shirts or knit tops to blouses when I'm at home. Interesting, I rarely wear these same kind of tops when I dress up to go out. I think it's because they're stretchy and comfortable--- ideal to wear at home with shorts and skirts. But because they are so stretchy and clingy, they make me feel conscious of my lumps and bumps and I try to wear more fluid blouses when I go out. Does that happen to you too?

Anyways, I love the outfit. Simple, smart and pretty. I love the colors together n love love love the necklace...once again!

Well, good for you for "picking it up a notch" when just at home. I'm trying to do this more as well. As everyone has said, I think that the necklace adds so much to this. And also good for you wearing what you have. I have a ton of tees that fit me like this, and it's not my preferred silhouette anymore, but they are still in great shape. And they are paid for!

Since you're struggling with finding flowy tees, might I suggest you take a look at this one. I think it's the BEST design, ever (well, for me). I almost gasped when I put it on... it was the tee I'd been looking for. (Although I have yet to wear it, LOL) It comes in a ton of wonderful bright colours.
