Way back in 2014 we had a wonderful Shoptemberfest in Seattle, and I bought a fantastic brown pleated pleather skirt and boucle moto jacket from Ann Taylor. I wore them both until they literally fell apart and mourned their passing like the old friends they were. Pic two is the photo from the first time I wore them and posted on the forum, and I also linked the "Finds."

Well. Imagine my surprise and delight when some pretty darned good replacements suddenly appeared on my radar after all this time. (Pic one) The jacket was part of a box from the petite styling service Short Story, and the skirt is Madewell. The Tippi sweater is a relic of my working days, when I had it in every color. The burgundy boots (we called them "red" back in the day) are ancient, ancient Frye Rorys -- I had them in three colors but I could never bear to part with the red ones even though they are a bear to get on and off. (Boot hooks and a bootjack for the win!) The bag is old, too, a souvenir of a trip to the Burberry flagship store in London, nine years ago this week!l

Oh and I'm dressed up for my weekly Rotary meeting! I'm leading the song today.

What say you? Does it still hold up?
